Abstract
The availability of dicumarol from three different commercial tablets was determined by measuring plasma levels in dogs and by an in vitro dissolution rate test. The products showed significant differences in plasma levels, areas under plasma level curves, peak prothrombin time responses, and rates of dissolution even though they contained the labeled amount of dicumarol.
