Abstract
Production and dissemination of knowledge is established on supply-demand and compliment-merit relations. Emergence and development of knowledge are directly related to each layer of the power and society. This relationship is always present in different forms. Knowledge and power need each other. The power disseminates knowledge to all layers of society. Hence the power establishes a network reaching to every layer in society. In this article, some examples are presented from 16th century Ottoman Empire. The role of the Ottoman power in production of knowledge and its relation with scholar, knowledge, art and artist has been examined.
