Abstract

Trigger thumb is a rare anomaly during childhood. The definite diagnosis is made based on the medical history and physical examination. Treatment is conservative or surgical. Conservative management includes passive flexion and extension with stretching exercises, corticosteroid injections, and splinting. Surgical management includes A1 pulley release. Herein, we report a rare pediatric case of bilateral congenital trigger thumb which was diagnosed at a late stage and successfully treated with surgery.
