Abstract
The Big Lots Foundation, the charitable giving arm of national discount retailer Big Lots, was established with the mission to improve and enrich the lives of families and children in communities where the company has business operations. In support of that mission, the foundation is currently accepting applications for funding—which may come in the form of monetary gifts, gift cards and/or in‐kind merchandise—from nonprofits serving its communities and whose programming is focused on health care, housing, hunger relief or education.
