Abstract

We study the boundary value problem for the Bradley–Harper (Kuramoto–Sivashinsky) equation governing the known technological process in nanoelectronics, namely, the plate (bar) processing by the ion flow. We find spatial inhomogeneous solutions and study the stability of such solutions. Similar questions are discussed for a two-parameter family of unstable solutions that forms a local attractor.
