Abstract

The undecoded biblical allusions «their shaddoe» and «thee» in the 27th Shakespeare sonnet are analysed. The? have copulative semantic meaning – the unity of many heroes in one. The analysis of this biblical allusion in the anthropocentric paradigm gives the possibility for a new interpretation of «dark places» in Shakespeare sonnets.
