Abstract

The issue of carbon emission reduction has attracted extensive attention in academic circles, but there are few studies on the Pareto frontier analysis of the multi-depot green vehicle routing problem with multi-objective. In order to effectively balance economic and environmental effects, this paper constructs a bi-objective optimization model for the open multi-depot green vehicle routing problems with time windows, which takes operating cost and carbon emission as the objective functions. NSGA-III is used to obtain the Pareto solution set of the bi-objective model. The experimental results indicate that the proposed bi-objective optimization model is effective in controlling costs and reducing carbon emissions.
