Abstract

Constant technical development and progressive robotization of production enterprises create newchallenges related to providing employees with a safe working environment. Thanks to robotizationand automation of their processes, companies try to increase their income. Production becomesmass, quality is better and human intervention is minimized, but this does not mean that such anenterprise can function without people at all. Therefore, in such companies, attention should bepaid to the safety of employees, because the level of risk when working with machines and robots ismuch higher than in manual production. This article is devoted to presenting the topic of employee safety on automated production lines and consists of three parts preceded by an introduction andconcluded with a summary. The first part presents the current state of automation and robotizationof production companies and the development prospects for the coming years. The second part –factors causing the greatest risk for an employee who operates modern machines or robots dailyand the third part discusses how to make the working environment safer.
