Abstract
On Lygaeus simulans spec. nov. and L. equestris (Linneaus, 1758), Two Closely Related Palearctic Lygaeinae (Heteroptera, Lygaeidae)The binomen Lygaeus equestris applies to two distinct but related sympatric species, both of palearctic distribution. L. simulans spec. nov. is described and the differences between the new species and L. equestris s. str. are discussed.
