Abstract

Shamsul Huda Ahmed, an Independent Researcher, Russell Webster, an Independent Consultant in substance misuse and criminal justice issues and Len Cheston, Senior Probation Officer in the London borough of Tower Hamlets, describe the results of a study aiming to throw light on the perceptions and attitudes of young Bengali probation clients and to identify areas in which probation practice needs to be improved.
