Abstract

Direct coupling of supercritical fluid extraction to capillary supercritical fluid chroamtography. II. Construction of a prototype and examples of application The second part of this work describes the construction of a prototype for direct coupling of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) and capillary supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC). The analyses of some natural products such as cheese, butter, coffee, tobacco and camomile were performed to evaluate the power of this new technique and to improve the existing prototype. It was shown that the direct coupling of SFE to capillary SFC represents a very promising new analytical tool. However, the developed apparatus can and must be simplified and improved.
