Abstract
India has seen a dramatic increase in traffic accidents, particularly those involving two-wheelers, which account for a significant per- centage of road-related fatalities and injuries. Current Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) available in the Indian market are limited, primarily offering basic functionalities like GPS naviga- tion and simple vehicle diagnostics lacking in real-time, dynamic data integration, such as weather and road conditions or personal- ized driver behavior insights, which are crucial for enhancing road safety. This paper presents a novel Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) tailored for two-wheelers in the context of Indian road conditions, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) . The proposed system leverages AI algorithms and real-time data processing to en- hance rider safety, navigation, and communication. The core of the system is an AI-powered system that integrates with the vehicle’s sensors and navigation data. By analyzing this information, it pro- vides real-time alerts to the rider, effectively preventing potential accidents and alerting about possible vehicle failures. The approach involves developing and testing various AI models to detect and classify driving behaviors accurately. The performance of these models was evaluated to identify the most effective configuration for real-time driver assistance.
