Abstract

This article provides an overview of childhood anxiety and appropriate assessment methods from a behavior therapy perspective and then focuses on a detailed description of the behavior therapy techniques that are most commonly used to treat these disorders. Issues related to treatment planning and the use of behavioral methods to increase understanding of childhood anxiety are discussed.
