Abstract

Objective To explore improving effects of behavioral nursing on the quality of life of bladder cancer patients. Methods One hundred and twelve patients of bladder cancer stoma were divided into the control group (n=56) and the observation group (n=56). The patients in the control group were given routine nursing. The patients in the observation group were given behavioral nursing. The quality of life, the incidence of complications and the degree of satisfaction of patients in the two groups were compared using the self rating scale of SCL-90. Results Based on the scores of the self rating scale of SCL-90, the score of the sensitive factor of interpersonal relationship in the observation group was (1.67±0.69), which was significant higher than that in the control group (1.43±0.45)(t=-3.124, P<0.05). The scores of other factors in the observation group were all significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 19.64%, which was significant lower than that in the control group (χ2=5.198, P<0.05). The degree of satisfaction in the observation group was 92.86%, which was significantly higher than that in the control group (χ2=6.619, P<0.05). Conclusions Behavioral nursing can improve the quality of life of bladder cancer patients effectively, promote the recovery of the patients and improve their nursing satisfaction.
