Abstract

Beam-steering antennas are mainly used in radio communication systems. The low loss phase shifters are the important element for this array antenna system which used to control the direction of main-beam. This paper reports the design of a beam steering array antenna system at THz. First, a graphene-based switch and switched line phase shifter has been designed to operate at THz. Then a beam steering phase array antenna is designed. Simulated results for insertion losses, return losses and relative phase shift are presented for graphene based switch and switched line phase shifter and simulated results for radiation patterns are presented for beam steering antenna system.
