Abstract
Single crystals of BaTiO3 were grown from the ceramic rods doped with Sr (1.0-3.0 mol%) by a travelling solvent floating zone technique. The grown crystals were slightly opaque yellow. The ferroelectric phase transition occurred at 129°C in a crystal doped with Sr (1.0 mol%). The X-ray diffraction patterns at room temperature were well fitted to those of tetragonal BaTiO3. Ferroelectric properties of grown crystals were examined.
