Abstract
Targeting noise interception, we studied a novel technique for controlling the elastic coefficient of a piezoelectric lead zirconate titanate (PZT) ceramic by connecting a negative-capacitance circuit that behaves as a “negative capacitor.” In this system, the attenuation factor in transmission loss was calculated from the ratio between signals obtained using the PZT system with and without the negative-capacitance circuit. The maximum attenuation factor in transmission loss was 57 dB.
