Abstract

Disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC) is a life-threatening state due to kinds of obstetric and non-obstetric disorders. DIC does not occur in isolation and is resulted from underlying basal disorders in pregnancy, including placental abruption, postpartum hemorrhage, preeclampsia, eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, acute fatty liver of pregnancy, septic abortion, amniotic fluid embolism, fetal demise, etc. This article focuses on the obstetric DIC of basic research and clinical aspects.
