Abstract

Abstract Basal cell adenoma is an uncommon type of monomorphous adenoma of the salivary gland. Its most frequent location is the parotid gland. Its recurrence rate and conversion to basal cell adenocarcinoma after inadequate surgical excision is high. We present a 68-year-old female patient with a basal cell adenoma of the upper lip arising from minor salivary gland.
