Abstract

Using the relativistic Schrodinger equation with an inverse-r potential in an extension of previously introduced composite models, we obtain sequences of masses in agreement (within a few tenths of 1%) with observed masses of Ξ, Λ and Σ particles and resonances. Predicted Δ* and Θ masses also agree with experiment. Only one fitted parameter (a fundamental mass, 70.024 MeV/c2) is required.
