Abstract
The authors describe a newly developed Ba-ferrite tape for R-DAT magnetic contact duplication (MCD). Using perpendicular orientation and optimizing magnetic characteristics, perfect compatibility in electromagnetic characteristics with MP tape has been obtained. The new tape's performance and the magnetic phenomena associated with MCD suggest that MCD duplication is very suitable application for Ba-ferrite media.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
