Abstract

Influence of the admixtures of group III elements of the periodic table upon magnetic properties of the barium–strontium ferrite has been investigated. The ferrites of BaO0.75SrO0.25·6Fe2O3 containing following admixtures of the group III oxides: B2O3 from 0.032 to 1.26 mole, Al2O3 from 0.054 to 2.59 mole, Ga2O3 from 0.012 to 0.76 mole were synthetised. Chemical analysis, X-ray identifications and matallographic obsevations were performed. Saturation Magnetization, remanence, coercive force and Curie temperature were measured.
