Abstract

Fisheries sector, which is vital for human beings to receive the necessary animal proteins, is threatened by unconscious over capacity hunting. Lack of ownership on migrating fisheries reveals the problem of free hunting which in the end cause a significant diminish in the stocks. In order to solve this problem the government in the countries should cooperate and apply common policies. In this paper, for this reason, European Union Common Fisheries Policy is evaluated from the institutional management perspective.
