Abstract

Graphical Abstract Fluorescence of NAD(P)H (blue) and flavines (green) in a human Müller cell. Staining with MitoSOX (red) indicates the coincidence of HAD(P)H fluorescence with mitochondria. Fluorescence lifetime measurements revealed a reversible change of binding of mitochondrial NAD(P)H to proteins along with an increased mitochondrial membrane potential under oxidative stress.
