Abstract

In this paper, the cross-spectral density (CSD) of aberrated cosh-Airy beams in oceanic turbulence is first derived. And then, the corresponding CSD matrix elements can be obtained by the unified theory of coherence and polarization. Finally, the features of astigmatic cosh-Airy beams propagating in ocean turbulence, i.e. average intensity, spectral coherence and polarization properties, were investigated in detail using numerical simulation. It can be found that the astigmatism has different effects on the average intensity in x and y directions. And the distance of the polarization returning to its initial value is affected by the astigmatism coefficient, cosh modulation parameters and coherence length.
