Abstract
This study aims to reflect on the notion that fans, as they are engaged consumers with in-depth knowledge about the works and artists they admire, can constitute an instance of television critique. Following the classifications of Wolton and Greco of specialized critique and popular critique, we propose a third category: that of the fan as a semi-specialized critic. This theoretical-argumentative reflection aims to discuss concepts in the field of critique focused on television narratives and lists portals that grant autonomy and a certain power to members of fandoms so they can quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate media products.
