Abstract

The article describes the composition of the laboratories "Smart House" of the Department of Electromechanical Engineering Odessa Polytechnic State University their purpose and functionality. Automation systems "Smart Home" are widely used all over the world and their number is increasing every day. Both wired and wireless automation systems are used. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, two laboratories have been created at the Department of Electromechanical Engineering. Wireless on the BroadLink platform and wired - the MegaD project. The wireless laboratory is used only for laboratory work. In the course of these works, students gain skills in installing, debugging, operating and programming automation systems using Broadlink devices. The wire laboratory has two purposes: use in the educational process for laboratory work and research work on the analysis of energy consumption in different scenarios of automation of corridor lighting. In the process of laboratory work, students gain skills in installation, debugging, operation and programming of automation systems using MegaD devices. Possibilities are shown to implement various scenarios and analyze the system operation. It is shown that when using the system of automation of lighting of the 3rd floor, it is possible to save energy and search for optimal control, by choosing different scenarios. After installation, setup and programming of automtion systems in the laboratories of the Department, they were convinced that students will be able to gain skills in designing, installing and programming automation systems "Smart Home"
