Abstract

The market for Electric Vehicles has been increasing steadily over the past few years throughout the world. With the increasing popularity of EV, a competitive market between charging stations (CSs) to attract more EVs is anticipated. This paper proposes a management strategy for charging electric vehicles in parking’s through automatic learning algorithms presenting the benefits of its implementation. In addition to the dynamic energy management in the proposed smart parking system, a user-friendly, mobile based interface has been designed by taking into consideration the digitalization required by our age. In the proposed smart parking system with dynamic energy management, many different scenarios depending on energy sources and charging demand have been analyzed. The results show that the power demand can be compensated without overloading the grid.
