Abstract

Automatic amplitude and phase equalization of “n” sinusoidal signals of the same frequency ω are studied. To demonstrate the technique, first amplitude and phase equalization of “two” such signals are considered and then the method is extended for the “n-signal” case. It will be seen that the proposed technique is very straightforward and accurate and does not involve any approximation or limitation on amplitudes, phase angles and the frequency ω of signals. Also, no instability problem is encountered if “three” simple rules are observed. An analogue computer simulation for the “2-signal” case is presented, which shows how accurate and attractive the method is.
