Abstract
A method of automated design of biochemical wastewater treatment systems is developed. It involves sequential execution of the following tasks: generation of a variant of the treatment system that includes all necessary steps of mechanical water treatment, biochemical water treatment, and activated sludge treatment; calculation of the parameters of equipment for the chosen variant of the system; equipment layout on the master plan of the waterworks site; and prediction of the water quality at a control point of a natural water reservoir.
