Abstract
The plasmin activity in plasma euglobulin fraction was measured automaticaly with the synthetic substrate of S-2251 from Kabi. By use of automatic clinical analyzer (model ABA-100), the volume of substrate could be reduced to oneforth as compared with original method. And the plasmin activity in plasma euglobulin fraction was showen to reflect the fibrinolytic status such as thrombolytic therapy with urokinase. The plasmin activity in plasma euglobulin fraction in normal person were measured but there were no significance between ages and sexes. The urokinase therapy with the combination of one shot of 60, 000 units and continuous infusion of 300, 000 units for 12 hours successed to obtain the increase plasmin activity about 3 hours after infusion, on the other hand plasminogen was decreased about 12 hours after infusion. But the second therapy with the same remedy had no significant increase of the plasmin activity.
