Abstract
The automated-control system (ACS) built for a helium liquefier with reciprocating expanders therefore fulfills functions not only for the maintenance of a given regime, but also its optimization and personnel instruction. The ACS is based on standard components; electric drives widely used in various recorders are employed as drives. Instrument facilities (software packages), which provide for the adjustment and correction of the ACS without of a software specialist are includeed as component parts of the ACS
