Abstract
The relative photoionization cross sections for the production of the 2${\mathit{s}}^{2}$2${\mathit{p}}^{4}$${(}^{3}$P)3p${(}^{4}$P\ifmmode^\circ\else\textdegree\fi{}) satellite state of neon has been measured from its threshold at 52.1--60.5 eV. The spectrum is dominated by resonance structure, which can be identified as autoionization of numerous doubly excited neutral states.
