Abstract

The reviewer's editorial comment is graciously received and emphasizes many of the same points we wanted to express and execute with our Urology Boot Camp. In organizing this curriculum we aimed to create a pilot medical student simulation that was easily accessible, highly applicable, and reproducible at other institutions. By focusing on common urologic bedside procedures such as foley catheter placement and irrigation, we hoped that not only could these concepts be applied to a broad range of medical specialties that a student could pursue, but they also allotted time and exposure to the incredible field of urology.
