Abstract

This phenomenological study explored the experiential learning of 5 master's‐level counseling students undergoing live supervision in a group techniques course. Multiple themes were identified to provide a textural‐structural description of how students authentically engaged in the learning process. Implications for counselor education and directions for future research are presented.
