Abstract
Stereotyping of 12 national groups by 667 Australian university students was examined by administering a Katz and Braly adjective check list. The data provide interesting comparisons with American student's stereotyping. The Australian students' stereotyping of the Italians, Germans, and English is remarkably similar to their American counterparts, whereas their stereotyping of the Chinese and Japanese is quite different.
