This presentation to the article by Aura Cumes represents the debates on feminism in Latin America that have strengthened and expanded in recent years around issues related to gender, ethnicity, and class struggle; themes addressed in different approaches and political agendas. Cumes adopts perspectives that are related to intersectional feminism, supported by intense discussions of political, social, and cultural scope, in which feminism rearticulated itself by integrating local demands and problems, with an intense appreciation of ethnic and cultural heterogeneity, composing a plurinational society.
