Abstract

Various types of selective audio frequency amplifiers are considered. Particular attention is paid to the problem of varying the frequency continuously. This leads to a consideration of the effects produced by the fact that two or more components in the frquency selective network must be varied simultaneously. Since the components will not stay exactly in step as they are varied, the gain, Q-factor and bandwidth of the amplifier will change with tuning.
