Abstract
Sphenoid wing meningiomas (SWMs) are slow-growing tumors that commonly present with proptosis and progressive visual deterioration. Due to the proximity of the sphenoid bone to key structures in the orbit, it may occasionally be misdiagnosed as other inflammatory and other neoplastic orbital diseases. This case report highlights an atypical presentation of SWM that mimics idiopathic inflammatory orbital disease, underscoring the importance of differential diagnosis.
