Abstract
The study investigated sex differences in attitudes toward marriage roles. Analysis indicated that the 50 men had a more traditional view of marriage roles than the 52 women. The men tended to be authoritarian while the women tended to have a more egalitarian attitude. A comparison of urban and rural influences yielded significant differences on authority and fidelity in marriage.
