Abstract
This paper presents a live application of a robust, fast, cost effective and an integratable subsystem solution for the object recognition problems in industrial applications. The well defined moment invariants are used for acquiring rotation, tranlation and size independent features from the image of the objects. For classification minimum distance classifier is used with an adaptive radius of cluster for unknown objects.
