Abstract

(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2023;141:1163–1170) A large percentage of maternal complications and deaths in the United States are due to hypertensive disorders of pregnancy; although these complications gradually improve after delivery, there are cases where it takes months for blood pressure to return to normal.
