Association between anxiety, depression and the delay action of fresh nurses in emergency unit

Abstract

Objective To explore the association between anxiety,depression and the delay action of fresh nurses in emergency unit.Methods 92 nurses,whose work year was less than two years in emergency unit,were collected randomly,and investigated by GPS,SAS and SDS questionnaire.Data was analyzed.Results Total scores of GPS was(54.82 ±5.81);The fresh nurses of SAS score(54.82 ±5.81)and SDS score(34.85 ±7.94)were higher than norm model[(29.78 ± 10.07),(33.46 ± 8.55)],and the difference was significant(t =10.100,6.59;P ＜0.01).Conclusions The anxiety and depression was obvious in fresh nurses in emergency unit,and were related with delay action.Psychology health education should be strengthened.
