Abstract
In this article on the basis of the analysis of actual accidents according to the results of road traffic accident examination, carried out in the state expert organizations of the North-West federal district of the Russian Federation during the last 10 years the statistical data which haven’t been published in the Russian Federation before are presented. The reasons for the lack of categorical conclusions in the expert studies on certain types of specialized tasks in the reconstruction of the mechanism of accidents involving pedestrians and cyclists are determined.
