Abstract

The research seeks to consolidate the range of theoretical concepts in the field of equitable distribution of educational opportunities, and apply them to Egypt. The author used statistical methods to measure and analyze the pattern of distribution of educational opportunities in the public pre-university education in Egypt. It emphasizes on the fact that the attainment of equitable distribution of educational opportunities will be accompanied by an improvement in the structure of human capital, and the qualitative and quantitative improvement in the structure of supply in the labor market and betters income distribution.
