Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyse the CSR practices to improve or implement an effective and efficient CSR-based supply chain performance (SCP) system. To achieve the aim, a list of 13 significant CSR practices was identified based on literature review and discussion with field experts taken from automobile industry located at National Capital Region (NCR) of India. As human/expert judgments contain certain degree of vagueness, fuzziness and impreciseness, the collected fuzzy input data on identified CSR practices was aggregated through converting fuzzy data into crisp scores (CFCS) defuzzification method and then analysed using fuzzy decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) approach. The analysis discloses that the CSR practice 'top management and employee awareness about CSR' comes out with highest prominence (4.4709) and relation (1.2993) value, hence seems as a most significant and influencing CSR practice in implementing an effective and efficient CSR-based SCP system.
