Abstract
Both BC and 4CMB but not 4HMB were shown to be capable of inducing mitotic crossing-over in exponential phase cells of the D6 strain of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In contrast, none of the 3 test compounds were capable of inducing mitotic chromosome aneuploidy.
