Abstract

Eco-innovative solutions are of great importance for the economic situation of a region, country or international organization. Improving the implementation of innovative eco-solutions largely depends on private companies. However, in the light of constitutional arrangements and statutory norms, public bodies should support such actions, among others through the effective and efficient use of public funds under the public procurement system. Both the EU (Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council 2014/24/EU and 2014/25 / EU) and national legislation place increased emphasis on supporting eco-innovative solutions. Taking into account the relevant parameters by the contracting authority within the evaluation criteria depicting preference ordering, enables the adaptation to the demands of the supply market. Innovative solutions are also important for the environmental sector, supporting activities in the field of minimizing the negative impact of human activities on the environment.
