Abstract
The Assemblies of God World Missions of the USA lists over 2,500 affiliated Bible schools, extension centers, and seminaries in the regions it serves worldwide, collectively with over 170,000 students. While some research has explored the history of theological education in the Asia Pacific, few have examined Pentecostal training in the region. This article argues that, over the last thirty years, Asia Pacific Theological Association has helped shape Pentecostal theological education in the Asia Pacific and worldwide through its (1) national representation, (2) localized training and scholarship, (3) global impact on theological education, and (4) networking for interinstitutional cooperation.
