Abstract
A rotator cuff tear is a common finding in patients with pain and weakness in the shoulder. Many tears can be successfully repaired, resulting in good pain relief and improvement of shoulder function.l~*,4,6,9,‘0114 Early complications after rotator cuff surgery are deltoid detachment and postoperative infection, and later recurrent tears can occur.3,6,*,‘3(15,‘6 We report 6 cases of aseptic wound complication after rotator cuff surgery leading to fistula formation. It is an unusual complication rarely described in the literature, and it can be mistaken for infection.
